Biggest Trailblazer

Chris Wallace had a heckuva year. Wallace went from being the frontman of one of the hottest pop-rock bands (The White Tie Affair, squeal!) to being a successful solo artist. His debut album is currently #28 (and climbing) on the Top 40 charts, ans was named “Best Breakthrough Pop Album of 2012” by iTunes. The pop star is also getting dreamy gigs, touring with artists like Flo Rida, The Wanted, Phillip Phillips, Andy Grammer, Rita Ora and others.

His dance pop single, “Push Rewind,” is doing better than anyone could have imagined, currently being played in excess on Fuse and VH1. You can’t even turn on MTV without seeing at least part of the video in their “Rising Stars” playlist.

As a fan of Wallace, I’m super proud of his journey, and I can’t wait to see what he has in store for 2013.

Read a snippet of our interview:

Craziest tour experience?

Definitely the month long tour I did w Lady gaga. I don’t know what was more amazing, all the nights hangin w her drinking whiskey… or walking off stage and seeing Madonna and Kane watching the set

Favorite thing to do when you’re not singing/writing/performing?

I’m kinda obsessed with all of those things haha. But I love to surf, ride motorcycles and taking random trips!

What’s on your bucket list?

Taking one of those virgin flights to the moon.

What are your tour must-haves?

Recording gear… I’m so inspired by the fans on the road. I love using that inspiration for  writing and working on new songs.

Who would be on your dream tour lineup?

Journey, NSYNC, and, lady gaga,

When do you think you will say that you’ve ‘made it?’

I think life is about the journey, not the destination, so prolly never lol.
