Otenki Announce ‘The War Outside’ Album Re-Release

Otenki Promo 2 copy

Pop-rock band Otenki will be re-releasing their album, “Kinetic” (produced by James Paul Wisner, Paramore, UnderØath) under the new name, “The War Outside.” The reworked album features remixes of older tracks (produced by Aaron Musslewhite) and their Spanish debut. The re-release is expected to drop January 14, 2014.

To give us more insight as to what’s in store, the band released a short video to announce the album:

“This effort isn’t just a re-release of older material. ‘The War Outside’ is a complete re-imagining of our EP ‘Kinetic’. It not only showcases a collection of songs we love and some intense remixes but it also gives you a sneak peek at what is in store for the next record.” – Enoma Asowata (guitarist)

“Without giving too much away ‘The War Outside’ is our chance to reintroduce ourselves not only to our existing fans but to hopefully bring in new ones. We wanted to take the time to writing the next record and ‘The War Outside’ gives us a chance to give everyone a little taste of the current, the old and the new. We’ve still got a lot of tricks up our sleeves.” – German Alexander (vocalist)
